I just spoke to the park attendant and she said reservations aren't really necessary. There are hardly any campers this time of year so we basically have the place to ourselves.

In addition, they are starting to close up some of the campsites and blowing out the water lines for winter. That includes the bathrooms. The one bathroom with water that will be open for sure is the second bathroom near site 265. So that's where I will be headed come the 22nd. I'll set up my tent, kitchen etc. near there so everyone will see me. I'll have my black suburban and BB3.

Phil, I know you reserved site 14 but that is one that is being closed down - no problem moving to a different site.

See you all there.

Pete, Phil, Tom, Boz and others,
I hope and plan to pull in Friday around suppertime, so if you could keep a plate warm for me. :>) :>)
I'll have my red Ford F150 with topper and be towing my Chuck Huff. Ginger, my chocolate lab will be riding shotgun. I have not finalized my actual hunting plans, anyone wanting to hook up, please contact me and we will see what we can work out.
Lacrosse------- be there or be square.

She just found out about the water situation Phil. The timing of it changes every year depending on the weather. She said she tried calling you.

Several weeks ago I overnited at site 317 headed for my sister's funeral in LaCrosse. It's the last group of sites (Kingfisher road) at Goose Island and close to the boat launch. All I'll need is power so can tuck in anywhere but would suggest that last site for the group (6 sites). I can come in thursday P.M.(22nd) if that can be helpful to anyone. I'll be driving a 21ft white and blue Winnebago. If you see an old fart walking around with a cane, that will be me :). The day before I'll be hunting in the Portage area.

Isn't this like next weekend? I will be hunting the river monday and tuesday of next week.

Thurs Oct. 22nd to Sun. Oct. 25th.

any room for another boat? I'll have to check with Tom S and see if there's room in his camper for another guy to join the party. I should probably check with my wife and see if she would murder me first. That would make 3 weekends GONE in a row.

Of course Paul, it's open to everyone who wants to come and hang out with a bunch of Old Farts and Old Farts in training.

I completely agree with Dave, tell her you're going don't ask her. And yes there is plenty of room. I don't care which sites we stay at

Paul,The rolling duck camp is open to you for sure. Get in touch with me and we will work out any details.

Sounds good - she is

"considering it"

(we have other plans that weekend that would have to be moved.)
