Tog season closed on saturday. so i had big plans to explore a new spot.
i got out a little early on friday to hit the honey hole and was met with pretty crappy vis. very hazy 4-5 ft. i have found the dirtier it is the more skitish the fish are. if its clean they stare at you and try to figure out what you are, but if its dirty they just run away.
my cousin came with me after being in Baja for a week for a school trip where the vis was crystal clear.
we managed two fish and made a plan for saturday.

as we hopped in on saturday, vis was cut in half and i couldn't even see my fingers. so we hopped out and called it for the early season.
i might hit RI though.
