Last year gone past

Friends,
It was a very fast year. I have been blessed with so many experiances. Most and foremost I have come to understand a part of our Lord that most do not see. I'm thankfull that the vast majority of us never must experiance some of lives miseries and challenges. However thankfully our Lord saw to it that he communicated in red letters what must be done to survive these challenges. It is our soul that must be safe-guarded. Our bodies will surely wither away leaving an never ending being. It is this that I live for everyday.
I thank you all from the deepest depth of my heart for your prayers and support. As a matter of fact today just got better.
God is great,
Chuck

Chuck, It was good to see you post. I have wondered how things were going. It was a wonderful year, certainly not without trial and tribulation but then what year has been? It was a pleasure meeting new duck hunters and getting to have my very first airboat ride. It was a blast meeting you and the girls too. It appears that the doctors have under estimated you and your strength of will. It's a given they under estimate the will of our creator but that is another story. Thanks for touching base with us again. Say hello to the girls for me.

Inch by inch it's a cinch. The doctor didn't know that he was messing with a "semi" old Marine and duckhunter. Hoping to get up there next week and carve with you guys. Help Rootbeers to get that shop heated!

Chuck,

Good to hear you are doing well! I look at the Greg Stender print I won in the benefit auction everyday and think of you and your family. Greg sent the print with a very nice matte job but I had a new matte made to include the nice Thank you note from you, Lori and Madalynne. I'm still in process of building a barn board frame for the print and have a special spot picked out to hang it.

My best wishes to you and your family!
God Bless,
Jim S

Hey Chuck..the best thing of all is reading your post and hearing how you are doing...you are in my and Lisa's thoughts here in Michigan and we wish you and yours the best. Our duck hunting hobby, which did draw us all together into this place, is one thing...but it truly and so much more importantly, is about friends.

Chuck,
You are absolutely correct, 2006 was a good year for sure. And 2007 will be even better for us all.

Keep the faith.

Best,
Brian F.

Dear Brother Chuck,

Amen to all you said!

You are an inspiration to all of us, and no doubt, God is so very happy with you!

Sitting on my tailgate a week ago, staring over MLB lake with you, it became so very more important a day, than just hunting together again.

Looking forward to pointing our pea shooters at those wily Pheasants again! If Harker reads this, he needs to bring his pea shooter too!

God Bless you, brother!

Mark

Dear Brother Steve,

We are looking at Sunday, March 4th. It's our 8th Annual, and we'll be hunting a preserve for pen raised birds. It would be great, if you could make it! Please let me know if I can help.

God Bless you and Debby,

Mark

Good point Lee. That's 21 miles from my house. I hate to say it but I may have to volunteer to pick him up. I wonder how much a clown with a giant sign that says "SUTTON" on it would cost me?

Chuck, Having never met you, but hearing about you and knowing one of the criteria of a man is the friends he has. You have done well.

You have come to the realization of what it is all about. Take comfort in that.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

May we meet some day in a great marsh with the morning sky full of birds and where there are no limits.
