Last year gone past

You are so right Chuck.

Our God is an awesome God. I hunted once this year with my adopted son Bryan. We had a great hunt, limited on Ringnecks. Thanksgiving day and I was hospitalized for what they thought might be a stroke. Turns out I have 3 non malignant masses, two in the brain (surprised me too Sutton) and one in the lungs. That pretty much ended my duck hunting for the season. Got out of the hospital a week before Christmas and have been recuperating at home since. I have been pining to go hunting but the Docs and most importantly the wife have said no. I pray he will let me have at least one more season.

I've bought a new hunting and freshwater fishing boat. The boat is a 14 foot Alumacraft and I'm pushing it with 15hp Yammadog (shocked me too as I've always been a Johnson/Evinrude guy). I've got to engineer an easy on and off blind for this rig before it can officially become the "Marsh Pig" III. The stripers should be running the Roanoke beginning the first few weeks in March and I'm praying the boat and I will be ready.

After spring striper fishing, I hope to get my Grady White up on the Chesapeake and do a number on the Flounder and Spadefish. After all of that I'll fine tune the boat blind and get ready for the main event.

God bless you and all the DHBP crew,
Harry

Let me know so I can see if I can figure out how to get up that way for "business"....

Steve
My kinda thinking.....can I send my daughter on "business scouting trip" as an office assistant making sure she has the appropriate business equipment?????? You guys could put her through job interview boot camp while she is there!!! I have told her she just needs to take her shotgun with her to her next interview that it would lessen her anxiety and increase theirs. She could say in that sweet southun drawl "well ma momma said that I had to be aggressive in my search for a job if I wanted to leave an impression". She also told me not to bring home any drakes with a band.

Its been ages since your name has bleesed the board...glad to see it again....

Glad to hear that the "masses" are non-malignant and hope to hear that the recovery continues post haste, forthwith so that you'll get to return to the marsh next season....

I still have the e-mail with the Brant Guide references that you once sent me....gonna use those one of these days...maybe this year if the Brant hunt at Graysons comes about...if that does please think about joing us for it.....

Great to see you posting again...and get well....

Best,

Steve

be happy to introduce her around the job marketa nd amking sure he has the proper business equipment...you'll need to teach her that she'll always ned to button the top button of her pants and to wear her blosues tag to the rear and right side out but once you accomplish that I'm sure that she'll do well....

You might want to take a couple of months drumming that into her so that she'll be ready when Turkey, err I mean "job" season opens. figure about April the 15th or so....

Steve

Thanks Steve,
Between heart attacks and my most recent maladies and having to work (work sucks) I've not been able to spend the time with my hobbies (including the DHBP) I've wanted to. But as I am now so sure that life doesn't last too long I will be making time to do the things I really want to do.
Keep me in the loop,
Harry
