Wow, is this late!!! I've been meaning to post this for a while, but kept getting sidetracked with the boys, or work, or... You'll have to excuse the pics, I hunt solo 99% of the time; so they are usually huried, and always with the iPhone... Last year was a pretty good one. The pup picked up 10 different species and I picked up a new one for me in Indiana. It's also been a VERY long time since I killed a wild quail.

A year in review;

Sunny afternoons were enjoyed

So were cold mornings

Some days were great

Other days were quiet

Time was spent on IR

Somedays we went and found the birds

Other days we waited on them to show up

Sometimes the plans worked out

Other times the birds surprised us

We can't wait to do it all again next year! For now, I'll settle for turkeys and fishin'

Some wonderful pictures, Hank. I really enjoyed this and am sure glad you took the time to post it whether or not you think it is late. That picture of your pup with the pheasant and quail is my favorite.

When you said that you hunt solo 99% of the time that got my attention. It looks like you had a memorable year.
