layout boat design ?

Yea i do all my own paint work

this boat has room in it for two dozen decoys now with a man in it with gear
we are goin to get cg approved this boat should have a 750 lbs rating with our flotation it over kill but safety is first

I hope to have the next boat up in a month or so with alot of new features and a new hull design tow better at speed in bigger chop this one pulls well for where we are located

The term layout seems to have two definitions depending on who you talk to. Is this a boat for shallow water marsh hunting or is it a boat for hunting ducks in open water?

I like your idea of dry storage, but not if it adds a lot of weight.

I'm not a super experienced diver hunter, but if this is meant for open water diver hunting, I think you'll want to blend the corners more smoothly so the boat blends in with the water better.

There seem to be a lot of good options on the market already. If you can make one that is lightweight, roomy, tows well, and is safe you're on the right track.

I think you'd want to differentiate yourself somehow - maybe be the low cost provider? There is a lot of competition at the higher dollar end of the market.
