Hey everyone,

I'll be moving back to Long Island in a month or so and was wondering if anyone is a member of a good retriever club that has training property or knows of some good places to train with dummy launchers and things of that nature.

It would be great to have access to a swimby/water T pond.

There is s retriever group that trains in calverton west of the old grumman plant NYS DEC land with many ponds.

Long island retriever club has some decent ground up there ive ran a few Akc test up there

The Long Island Retriever Field Trial Club runs tests and trains on the NYS Otis Pike Preserve near Grumman. Great bunch of folks. They host practice sessions with birds a few times a year for members.
