kjladd, someone came all that way to grab a sneak? that's incredible. I may end up selling mine as im military and only have one season to go before I know i'll be out of the country. i'll have to get another when I come back I believe.

Edit: I don't have enough posts to list something for sale here so itll go on other places. not to turn this into a for sale add, but PM if interested. I may well keep it for this next season as its a slick little rig but I didn't use it much where I am because I don't like to beat up on fiberglass and lots of areas are kayak/canoe launches that I've been using. I would've had to drag this thing off the trailer and that's just wrong imho for such a nice rig. I have a cheap canoe for that.

If you are being deployed, I am sure one of us would properly store your duckboat for you.... I will for sure. I am not looking to "store"/use it, I will honestly store it. I am thankful for your service.

Dave, I appreciate it. it wouldn't be a deployment per se, but a move overseas for about three years. that's a lot to ask someone for storage. It may be sacrilege here, but honestly I think i'll go with an aluminum sneak when I come back. my issue right now is that access to water is easy, but I have to carry or drag my boat to it from the parking area. not usually far, but would be a challenge with a boat this size, and I would surely destroy the bottom in a short period of time. its such a nice boat that I refuse to do that. a thick hulled alum sneak would allow me to do that without the heartache.

Roy, thanks for the pictures via email, you have a very slick rig. mine currently looks similar, but with more cedar per my location. very deadly.

T, I appreciate it. I'll know a lot more about what I need to store as I get closer to my rotation date and I don't even know where I'm going next. Greater than average odds take me overseas but there's a possibility Ill stay in the states, in which case, I'll bring whatever I have with me of course. One more season in New England to seal the deal on brant, eider, and maybe even an old squaw if I'm lucky.
