Looking for used rig suggestions

Hi All,

Wondering if I can get some input on my next duck boat. Currently, I am running an 2012 18' Lund Alaskan Tiller with a 75 hp Yamaha and an Avery Quick-set blind. The boat has been awesome.
We got this boat because we though it would make a great double duty, walleye-hunting rig, which it has been. Over the last 2-3 years, I am finding myself hunting just me and my dog more and more.

My wife want's a larger fishing boat with a windshield :)

Since I hunt mostly by myself, I don't really need an 18' duck boat, but still want to be safe. So I thought this is the forum to get some input. I hunt inland land lakes mostly and pick my days on the larger lake I hunt if it's really rough I can just go to a small lake.

So I'm looking for help on the type of boat.

So here's my criteria in no particular order of importance except #1:

1) It should handle honest 1-2 foot waves safely
2) Be able to get into some shallow weedy/muddy water areas
3) Good at hiding because my birds are pressured!
4) Be able to carry a guy, dog and gear safely
5) Tow-able on a trailer

Are my exceptions out of wack!

Thanks Phil, I'll start reading up on these.

Nope won't be building it myself, I'm handy but not that handy! LOL!

Speed is not a big concern, just want it to handle a motor big enough to handle the weight of the required gear.

Greg,
where are you located? This may play into what is locally available, unless you are willing to drive or to have it shipped.

BTW- stitch and glue boat building isn't difficult....
