Lowe Angler Series?

Best guess, 1.5 feet would be tight for me given my configuration.
With a 20 and less weight in flooring, console, storage etc. I suspect you would be alright.

When I can get at my boat in March (snow melt), I'll take some measurements and tell you exactly how much she draws based on waterline marks at the stern. YOU MAY HAVE TO REMIND ME THOUGH. Memory isn't what it used to be.

Funny how things happen, I purchased this boat last year at this time and asked about Lowe boats on this site. You were one of the proponents of them and swayed me to take the deal I had found. Helluva rugged boat - every bit as good as the old Starcrafts of which I have has two.

Will get back to you next month.

Bill

Talked my bride into not going back for her PHD coupla years ago. I think that saved our marriage. That old Starcraft I had drew way less than 1' maybe 9-10". Wish I could find a boat like Michael Barnes has. I have a 50 Yamaha with nothing to put it on.
Hope you get the boat you want,
Harry

I'm definately not worried about ruggedness. My SeaNymph, made by Lowe, has held up great to 10 years of abuse. It saw 30-40 days on the water for 6 years straight, around 20/year since then. I love it, just need something bigger now that I have a family.

And I will try to remind you when the snow melts if I remember!.

Yep, we've had that same discussion, I dont mind being known as Dr. & Mr, but we need a break!

Actually, looks like after a year or two break, I will try to get accepted to get a MS, going to specialize in habitat restoration.
One of the researchers who does work for me is begging me to become his student. GOnna be hard to get back to books after 20 years.

Habitat Restoration is surely something the World needs, especially waterfowl habitat.

Always heard that Sea Nymphs were good boats. Finding a used starcraft or lund v hull at a good price is as hard as finding hen's teeth. If you find two aluminum V's at a good price let me know.
Best,
Harry
PS Yeah I went back to grad school after 20 years and the old brain really had to be dusted off, plus getting into the work and study regimen was a tough scene.

Hat's off to her and you,
Harry

I have one of the Starcraft Patriot models, a 14 ft for back bay striper and fluke fishing, that has served me quite nicely. It is all welded and has an open floor plan with a full-length aluminum floor. It is very wide for its size as well.

I run a 25hp four-stroke Yamaha on it, but it is rated for a 40!
