Who said 13 is an unlucky number?
* 13 inches of ice
* 13 Crappies on top of the ice, along with a bonus Bluegill
* 13 inch length for biggest with 9 inch length for the smallest


I'm OK with Lucky 13 [cool]

I was on the water just under 3 hours. First two came within minutes, and then there was a lull. I swapped lures a couple times before hauling up another one. Lost several at the hole. Why is it you only lose the big ones (or so it seems).
Things picked up again, after I downsized to a small Rembrandt jigging spoon.


Life is good, unless you are one of the thirteen.

Dang, I really miss ice fishing!

I foresee a nice fish fry in your future.
 
Dave, I can't tell you all the times I have used 13 decoys in my spread. Saying that, I agree with lucky 13.

That is a dandy looking batch of crappies and they had to be delicious.

Yep they were quite tasty. It's a balmy zero degrees out right now. Winds are supposed to pick up bringing the windchill to negative 17 degrees. That is good for making strong ice except. we also just received about 5-6 inches of new snow cover. That makes for tough walking, so I'll be using my ATV to tow my fishing shelter out and back.
My wife and I were to go to my youngest granddaughter's 16th birthday party yesterday. Unfortunately, the snow and the winds made for unsafe driving conditions and we were unable to attend.
