Man do I heal fast or what? I think the Dr. that saw me about my leg may have gone by the name Doolittle, cause I ended up feeling a lot like a PUSHMEPULLYOU.

Saw the Ortho specialist today who laughingly told me That I have "NO BROKEN BONES ANYWHERE". He did tell me how ever that I have a rather strange horny (his word not mine) growth off the fibula above he ankle. This must be what Dr. #1 saw as the ready to compound fracture of my leg.

Nobody at the specialist could find any broken bone in my foot. That would be the broken bone that Dr. #1 called me at home to warn me that they had just found....

End diagnosis, torn muscle, sprained ankle, stretched tendon, 1 month in a transformer cast. A cast that is easily camouflaged : )

Unlucky indeed...

Moments later... 911 call for a man losing his balance while showing off his boot.

Glad you are only sprained and pulled.

Tim

Congrats on the Re Diagnosis!!!

I might point out that you still had the same original injury due to whatever circumstances you wish to provide, but the outcome is all that changed!!

Good luck hunting.

I see the problem. You've got a heron stuck to the bottom of your robo foot! Dang, that must hurt.

Ha you carnt bluff your wife now reguards waterfowling in scotland, hope it mends soon Buddy and you get some good hunts.
take care
Eddie.

Mmmmm, velcro. So, if you take your "boot" off and shove it in a pair of waders, let the pressure of the water on the outside of the boot while standing waste deep provide stability to the injury, would that allow you to answer in the affirmative when the doc asks if you have been keeping a boot on?

Brian you slipped up there, you should have asked the doc for the other boot so you can make a pair, are they waterproof.
take care
Eddie.

So Ballard, what is the thinsulate rating for that boot? Be careful - some Pro-staff, goatee clad - black hoodie wearing gang might think this is actually cool new duck gear and clad it out in mossy-oak for next years line of tranformer duckwackage gear. So much for barrel stickers, hell they will have Pinky toes nail polish......

Ooooo. Tell you what--braoken bones heal faster than torn muscles and dislocated whatsits. I speak from experience. Broke a leg and dislocated an ankle (same leg fortunately) the middle of last February. I'm still having issues with the ankle. The leg was fine in six weeks...

Good luck with the healing; don't push it just because you can.

I'm glad that first doc (?) didn't try to set that supposed fracture. I'm sure there will be no holding you back now. Just don't try sneaking out of the house now---thump, thump, thump. :-)

Sorry to hear that Brian. The side by side , the new boat , the trip to Scotland all down the tubes. The sympathy factor is gone. Since I put five dollars in the Ballard pool if I win I can loan you some money. ( : )
