Well the date is fast approaching! I've been in contact with Mark Rongers at MLB and have reserved a banquet room at Coyle's Restaurant in Houghton Lake for dinner on Friday, October 30. They have a pretty good all you can eat buffet for around $16.00 per person. I'd like to get an idea of who is coming (to the hunt in general or dinner). Also, if anyone needs any local info, i.e. motels, campgrounds, alternate hunting spots please feel free to PM me.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there.

We will be there ( x 3) Hope to get in Wednesday afternoon with Blake, and my husband will be up sometime Thursday late afternoon evening..

Buffet sounds great, when I got the note about needing to bring my own tp I was thinking I was going to need to pack a bunch of food too? haha...

Thanks for putting the head count together. I plan on making Lee Harker bisquets and gravy one morning so when you get a head count could you please email me with that so I can have enough for all. See you all in Houghton. Greg MLB

What time is everyone getting together for dinner on Friday? I'm leaving tomorrow morning if everything works out right (sick kids are a bummer).
 
I wish I was going....5 kids, Halloween...you know what I'll be doing.

At this point you guys have the perfect storm of weather and calender ducks that will surely be piling in on Higgins and Houghton headed southeast. Bring your Dramamine and be safe!
 
One more thing.....you don't need a north wind up there for your migrants.....you need a westerly! You got it!!!!
