My new Ducker

More pic's to follow later. Was purchased from the grandson of Walter Bush Sr, founder of DU I believe. Great price and great place where it was purchased from. 1200 acres of waterfowl paradise.

Many kudo's to Ron Schuna for letting me know about this boat last night. Without his text, I would not have been able to get there first to purchase. Lot's of work ahead to clean it up but for the most part the hull and boat are sound from what I can tell. Biggest fix is the hole in the deck that you can see on the left hand side. That and some dent removal, and other stuff and I'll have myself a piece of history. Don't know the hull # yet. Many layers of stuff to get through first.

Mark, You lucky SOB. What a great find!!!. A little TLC and you will have a wonderful piece of history to use. I do really hate you now you know;-)

congrats Mark, your gonna love the boat and kudos to a fellow duckboats member for the lead, way to go Ron. When you get settled into it, I will need to steal some of your ideas for a low profile waterproof blind/cover.

Ron, I certainly appreciate the thought BUT I would need a new place to live and a new wife. I really don't want to replace either. That is one cool boat though, I hope for a ride when Mark gets her shipshape. Last year on my way back from ND I was passed by a truck/ trailer with TWO Duckers on it, class act no doubt!! Again, thanks for the consideration. Mark deserves it.

Tom,
We've had several in the group I hunt with, myself, two of my buddies and my brother....now that is a sight at the landing...I'll still let you know first o the next one just so you can turn down a ducker. :-)

-Ron
