Its not often that someone gives you a present on their birthday. My buddy John Whiticar's dad gave me one of his old decoys a couple of weeks ago. He just happened to celebrate his 102nd birthday that week. Wouldnt you love to have some of those genes? Curt Whiticar is a world famous boat builder as well as an artist and writer. I will treasure this block for the rest of my life! Rich

Oh my...as I sit here looking at your post on my computer with ProEngineer on the other screen I'm taken back to a time when I pushed lead across scales on a Keuffel & Esser avocado green drafting machine. Then when I got to use those scales (because they were longer) on a Mutoh track machine I thought to myself...Man it don't get any better than this!

BTW....cool decoy and to have a quality of life at 102 I think to myself.....Man it couldn't get any better than that!

My original favorite decoy. I found this old Broadbill decoy many years ago in a junk shop in Hampton Bays NY. Paid $20 for it. I bet if it could talk, it could tell some good stories! Rich
