My new sorta TDB

Phil looks like you have got a fun summer project there, good luck with it and keep us posted.

Any chance we will get to see it atnext year's get together?

Phil, looks good,I think it will be a fun project to restore, once your ready for paint, bring it down and well paint it,I could airbrush some camo for ya,be careful on the return voyage, Brian

Yes Andrew... as far as I know.. I will be at next years shin dig... unless I forget like last year..... and I will probably bring this one....

David I have never had an issue with photobucket... If it was just 1 or two pics I would inbed them, but for an album I posted the link... FAR easier IMO than posting via this site.

Brian, I re-wired the trailer...but I think I have the wrong bulbs in the lights... no blinkers... grrrr

Leaving for Iowa early tomorrow morning.

Hi guys,

I mean no offense to Phil or anyone but, I'd like to point out one thing concerning pictures, (and I think this is also what Dave Clark was getting at).

So far Phil has had 170 views of his post. This means that for every one of those viewers who wish to see his photos they must each click on the link and then click on each photo in the album to view said photo full size. That is 170 times the process must be repeated. To quote an earlier comment; What a pain in the derriere.

If the photos had been pasted into the original post, it only has to be done once and is much easier on everyone else.

Much better, thanks Dave. It may be a PITA to put them up like that but they are so much easier to view than going off to PB.

Phil,

What caused the damage to the starboard side of the boat? Tree branch? Interesting project.

Looks like a project....plenty of cracks...missing glass-----going to require a few long nights and a beer or three...

Matt

Thanks Dave for posting those pics. For me photobucket poses a problem while I am at work. It is blocked by the corporate Nazis so no pictures even if they are in the post. Shhhhhh I think their listening in............what a great bunch of guys at corporate!
Looks like you have a lot of work to do on that hull but I'm sure that when your done it'll be very sea worthy and give you a lot of years of service.

Good luck with the restoration.
I'm just finishing up on mine.
I'll look forward to watching your progress.
Is that a TDB knock off? Who was it made by?

Pete- I have NO idea what caused this damage... I am GUESSING that it got dropped on stuff....

Dave- It is simple to use the IMG code, but I wasn't going to tie up space with 10+ pics... PB is simple and fast.. on my puter...
so ....

John- I can't answer any of your questions.... :) Bama Bill bought this from someone... it was in Toledo for a while... this fall he took it back to Alabama.... sold it to Matt Masters on this site. Matt hadn't done anything with it, and I bought... 1 hour ago I got it back to my home in Iowa.... It looks like a TDB... but the stern obviously doesn't look like a TDB.
