My wifes first hunt in many years

My wife decided to hunt with me today for the first time since our youngest was born. So, just her, Jake, and I. She shot her shotgun, so I had to take my own.
High wind, grey skies, spitting rain, so the pictures arent the best. She was shooting a 20 gauge with #6 shot today. Killed 3 of the 4 Pheasants Jake put up today. Didnt shoot at the 4th.

Mike, you are a very lucky man. Don't forget that! By the way, those pictures are excellent with the light conditions you talked about.

Our Brits and our yellow Lab just loved showing off for my wife.
My wife wasn't a hunter but the dogs sure knew when she was along.
Just a little different swagger to their strutting.

Great pics. It's great when your wife hunts. Mine doesn't hunt birds but is a deer & bear hunter. She will even dress it out if I'm not around. She shot one of her earlier deer with our baby in the backseat! She saw it on my dad's property, went home, got her 35 Rem. and went back and shot it. And yes, she did get out of the car first!
