Name that Traveling Goldeneye

Our Traveling Diver, the Goldeneye by Steve Sanford is on it's way to Brandon in the UP, but is distinctly lacking in a name...Any suggestions?

Charles or William, mostly because they seem like the names of proper English gentlemen. The goldeneye has always struck me as a properly dressed bird, or at least somewhat formal.

Since it is starting its journey in the UP, and keeping with theme of a formally dressed drake, how about "Lord Yooper"?

Residents are frequently called Yoopers (derived from "U.P.-ers") and have a strong regional identity.

I second Bond, James Bond!

First the vetos:

Bond, James Bond

We actually had a traveling Goldeneye a couple years ago named James...we even had a Lady M (as in Mallard) to go with him...but separately.

It's easy - KING

And we had a King a few years before that...but he was a Canvasback.

I'll vote for "popcorn ;>) ;>)

I'm not going to justify that with an answer...

So, thus far we have the following suggestions:

Charles
William
Sir William
Lord Yooper
Charles William
Whistling Willy
Patches
Rebecca
Mr. Whistler
Splash

I got to say Kevin's suggestion is thinking outside the box. Any more?

I like Lord Yooper.

How about this idea: the first member to drop a drake GE over this diver get's to name him? It could be interesting....
