It's been a terrible day here today as many of you must know by now.............

My prayers go out to everyone involved and there are many, too many .............

I happened to receive this tonight from a friend and it gave me a little respite from the horror of our day and am posting it here that it might do the same for someone else.

Absolutely astounding. There were many amazing birds in that video along with some really cool displays of courtship!

Thanks, Dick. Truly amazing what is concealed under that canopy! Loved every second of it.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who have suffered.

Dick, our thoughts are will you all.

Thanks for link a great bit of filming. I thought you guys that enjoyed the film would like to know. There is a book called birds of paradise by TIm laman and Edwin scholars. Published by national geographic. This is a large book full of the most amazing photos and information. Well worth your dollars. I bought it last Christmas and have enjoyed it a lot.

Sarge - I too have prayed for this tragedy. We have hope in a God that is above all these human tragedies.

Amazing footage to explore these amazing creatures in Creation. Birds like that are way to beautiful to simply say they evolved. There is only one answer, it can only be from the paint pallette of our Lord...

Genesis 1:19-22...

19And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
20And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth

Hi Pat, I second that brother.

No doubt about it...God's palette! Hitch

Incredible! On my bucket list. Hitch
Hitch - I saw something on this on TV a while back and, as I recall, this place is very remote. But if you could get there, it would not be hard to run through several memory cards. I often find myself wishing I could go back in time to hunt and fish in some places that I know and it looks like it's still the good old days over there.
