NDR (but eventually grouse and woodcock!)

WTH!!!!!! Did I miss the announcement that this little guy was on the way?.......

Looks like there will be some REAL BIRD DOGs on the site this Fall.......

Great looking pup...look forward to seeing more pictures of him......

I'm new at the pointy Dog Game. So new I won't have my first "non flusher" for another three weeks. Where's your pup from?

Steve

Deadwater Gun Dogs in Colebrook, NH. Brodie will be my sixth setter gun dog. I've trained them all myself, and have had some rewarding experiences.
Best of luck on YOUR journey!

Sir~

Good job - and congratulations! Am I correct in presuming he will be retrieving Atlantic Salmon later this year?????

All the best,

SJS

Two Setters on the board at one time, (I'm sure there are others but UPLAND has never been a big thing here which has always kind of surprised me), we'll have to start lobbying Eric and Chuck for an UPLAND PAGE......let in the couple of Ugly Dog owners just to have someone to make fun of.....that should get an "OH YEA" or two.......

40 pus years a Lab man and I plan to die with one in my lap but I gotta try this Pointy Dog thing before I get too old......

Steve

Ahem... three setter pups on the board! This is Luke, my dad's new bird dog.

Great looking puppy. Better keep an eye on him settlers like to roam.
He is starting to get old but he is still a ball of energy when he sees the upland gun come out.

ahhhhh the Pointy Dog people are coming out of the wood work......so why do we so rarely see an Upland post here?

Love the little Tri-Color Craig....I'm hopeful that mine will be a Tri-Color.....I'm third pick on females and I know for sure there are two Tri's and on Orange and white and I'm told the Orange and white is already gone so that would give me one of the Tri-Colors.....I'll pick on disposition and things other than her color but it would be nice if it all worked out.....

Evans and his Old Hemlock Setters are one of the reasons I always wanted a Setter.....neat to see them on this board as well.......

Steve

Those are some mighty purty burr collectors you guys got there. :)
We don't need an upland forum on here, just get some birds over those long haired pageant winners and post them up here.
In the meantime the ugly germans will keep plugging away.

btw Those are some good looking dogs. If I don't have to deal with the hair I love seeing a good setter. Years ago I ran into a guy who had a pair of Llewellyns, they were great pheasant dogs for him. The image of those dogs still pops up in my mind when I think 'bird dog'.
