Well we have finally picked a date to get married.

June 11, 2016

We are going to have it at a local fairgrounds. the wedding is going to be real low-key farm themed. I am in charge of the food (pig roast) and the beer (lots of craft corny kegs and of course Pabst)

Now before any of you guys say another one bites the dust, I can't believe I found someone who has already put up with 8 years of my crap and is more stoked about Squirrel season than I am.

We are looking at going to the WA/OR coast for our honey moon. (I am dreaming about going to New Zealand, but if we went I wouldn't come back)

Any girl that gets her ring on a tipup is a keeper in my book. Good for you guys, sounds like you found your soul mates.

Best of luck to you two, we have been putting up with each other for 41 years so don't believe all the crap about marriages not lasting anymore. Looks like you both are the lucky ones.

Congratulations.

The wedding plans sound appropriate and low key, but there is little doubt there will be some drama about them before things get done. Just roll with it, and stay focused on what's important.

Dee Dee and I had our wedding at a historic set of fishing camps in western Maine. I think my favorite moment was when our then 14 year old niece, at that point was deep into her vegan/Goth phase, announced that she couldn't eat dinner "with a bunch of dead things". Since it wasn't feasible to take all the old fish, bird, deer and moose mounts out of the dining room, we told her she could take a plate out on the porch.

Congrats Chris! That song is a great song, for our wedding my wife and I love brad paisley, we were stuck on waiting on a woman and shes everything. We ended up going with shes everything but waiting on a woman is an amazing song, are you using waiting on a woman for your wedding song? Glad you found someone who you can count on and create memories with in and out of the woods.
