The other thread about books got me thinking about books I've read in the past about outdoor adventure, and I remembered one that I'd read a LONG time back but I can't remember the title. I was hoping someone around here might know the book and point me in the right direction.
It was about trout fishing and the gist of the story was a boy who loved to fish lived near this land that was purchased by an out-of-towner who started a bunch of work on the land, excavating and moving gravel around....towards the end, it is revealed that the man was building a trout stream and when he stocks the first trout, the boy sneaks in to catch them...
I read it when in about the 5th grade, so it's not a best seller or anything, but I'd love to find a copy of it if anybody happens to know of it. I've poked around some this afternoon but thought perhaps this would shorten the search time.
Thanks!
Scott
