NDR - Looking for info on concrete stamping

I do a lot of concrete at my job and I've done some stamping, the hardest part is the timing. Out here in Utah you often have about a 45 minute window when it's right for stamping, you need to move fast and have a crew of guys to help you. It's also a pain to cut your expansion joints on a stamped surface. The technique itself isn't that hard but the timing is. I would suggest that you mix your color into the mud rather than use the colored powder, that way if you get a chip or a crack it won't show up as a different color. Often times you can rent stamps from a tool rental or concrete supply place. Another thing is to apply a good cure and seal product when you're done, it makes a huge difference in the longevity of your concrete. Good luck!
