NDR - Reclaimed lumber furniture

I thought this was pretty interesting, if it doesn't belong, let me know and I'll delete it. I love to look at wood furniture. Personally I just don't have the capacity to be a woodworker, I'm envious of those that do!

A customer who has, over the last few years, turned into a friend, makes furniture from reclaimed lumber. He gets it in all sorts of places, from sunk logs to old buildings. It's interesting stuff and he does a real nice job on his photography and videos. His videos relate the history and craftsmanship that goes into each piece. Part 6 is a shameless promotion for my Brands, but it's also pretty instructional.

His website has some beautiful examples of old growth wood furniture.

Terry...Terry...Terry...we are a very well rounded group, and furniture and reclaimed lumber are both very interesting to me. To show you how much I feel this fits, I'll even edit your post to make you link "live"

See you in a couple weeks!

Very cool website, thanks for posting that. Check out the knives and guns in the gallery section.

Have you ever carved with old growth wood? We have quite a few old barns in this area loaded with old growth white pine. I really like working with the old wood. For the keels I have been able to reclaim white oak from these same barns.
