This is going to make me sound so 'gay' since I didn't know who Bettie was...
Van Johnson is a favorite of mine.... Thirty seconds over Tokyo, the last time I saw Paris, The Dr. Gillespie movies, in the good old summertime, Brigadoon and so many more. Well at least he had a long productive life, one of the last old time movie stars. RIP Van.

btw Yes, I rarely watch movies made after the 70's.

Trying to remember the magazines I snuck out of my dad's sock drawer.....True..or something like that. Always had Betty in some skimpy outfit. If it weren't for her, Hef probably would never have thought about Playboy.
 
Lee, you are so right. My brother and I used to barrow my dads magazines that were hidden over the air ducts in the basement. Betty was a hottie in her leopard outfit. I know she did playboy but not the year.

She lived the last years pretty much in seclusion. There will never be another Bettye.

Hope she and Van J are on the "Big Stage" now.
