neoprene jackets

Todd, I am really a large tall. I'm 6'1" and weigh 175-180, My arms and legs are long, I have a 37-1/2 sleeve, and that is hard to get. I almost ordered the Sitka wader jacket for 500 beans the other day, but the sleeve length is 36 for the large, and extra large is usually too big for me, and I was worried that I would get the large and the sleeve would be up over my wrist. Is that an answer or just more confusion? Does anyone out there have the Sitka wader jacket? I have a good friend that has a lot of the Sitka stuff, he has 4 sons in their 20's and they have it also, I'm going to see if any of them have a jacket and how it is sized before I buy it.

Is river west still around? They were the ultimate jacket back in the day. Ran insanely hot. The driest jacket I have ever worn is the sitka hudson jacket but its SO SO warm. The delta would be better for just rain and if layering. I really only wear my hudson on super cold boat runs. Otherwise, I cant hunt in it, I sweat way too damn much. It has to be BLISTERING cold for me to just wear it while hunting.

Greg, I think I have your jacket. I am 6 ft and weigh about 180... It used to work for me. I haven't a dog or a boat anymore. It is unlikely I'll ever use it now.
What is your address?

I have the Kobuk neoprene jacket pictured above, actually 2 as I just bought a back up this year in a lighter camo pattern for hunting in tules. You can’t get through the website (and don’t recommend purchasing anything from Kobuk’s website). I buy Kobuk on eBay from a sporting goods outfit in CA. Had to make an exchange on my first jacket from them to go up a size, customer service was great.

A few notes on the jacket - sizing is strange. 2xl fits my 6’3”, 195#, freakishly long armed body about perfect. Room to layer a light wool sweater and down vest underneath. Can feel a little restrictive to swing in the jacket when layered up, but I miss just as many birds in a light shirt. Warm, wind and waterproof as all get out, and really turns wet and frosted brush away nicely. I’ll wear my two jackets until they fall apart.
