New blind in progress

Shawn~

Really fine work on that frame. But, it just occurred to me - is that copper grounded? Hopefully, your vessel will be a "lightning rod" for waterfowl only....

All the best,

SJS

Steve,

I have never thought of that one before and thinking about it I have never hunted ducks in a lightning storm. That being said I guess this blind would conduct electricity slightly better than the original aluminium frame. Maybe the next one will be Teak, could make some really cool lines, but I think it could get a little pricey.

Made some progress on the canvas work with my buddy Bob Goydan over the weekend.

Fully enclosed for travel/ storage. Still need to finish the back enclosure and to make a motor cover and splash well cover to hide the pup, but getting much closer. The panel that zips out of the middle can be left in, unzipped enough for the pilot, when traveling on those really crappy days so your passengers can stay dry. Have not reinstalled the flips for the front yet, still have a little sewing to do and they get in the way when pulling side panels off. Hopefully sun will be out next time we are working so I can get some interior shots.
