New Boat

I just picked up my new David Clark Garvey. I had previously owned one of David's estuary' boats which is a fantastic boat but I wanted a two person boat and the Garvey fit the bill. David's attention to detail on his boats speaks volumes to his art and craftsmanship. It was well worth the 8 1/2 hour ride to pick it up. I'm looking forward to this year's seasons and already have a trip lined up on Chincoteague Island in December. Thanks David for building a fantastic boat!!!

That boat will get to the grounds and get you home in some really good duck hunting weather. Dave has made a whole fleet of really capable duck boats over the years. Id like to see them all lined up for a photo. Still wish I had kept a BBSB he restored for Smith and I wound up owning for a few years.

Tom, Did you buy the Garvey with the wooden deck or a all glass hull and deck?

With the wood deck, I like the "old school" boat builds using wood for the deck.
