Well kind of new. I joined back in the fall but i'm just getting around to introducing myself. I found the site while searching for ideas for a sunfish conversion I was doing. Great site you guys have here. Tons of knowledge and information. I have pretty much stopped looking at other forums that I belonged to after finding this site.
I live in South Jersey and have been into hunting, fishing, clamming, diving, boats, and dogs my entire life. Water fowling took center stage in my list of hobbies about five years ago. Now it's what I spend most of my free time doing. I have a four year old chocolate lab, Porter, and an assortment or canoes and kayaks that I hunt out of. Hopefully in the next year or two I'll begin building a BBIII. I have been working in construction for the last 14 years and doing fine woodworking and cabinet making for the past 5-6. So I have the tools and basic woodworking knowledge but no boat building or glassing experience. With that said, once I begin you will probably be hearing a lot of questions from be. I also just started carving this winter. I have always wanted to try it but never new where to start. After viewing all the carving related post on this site I decided to just dive in. It has been very fun but a little harder then I thought. When I get a photobucket account and figure out the picture posting I'll put some decoy pics up for critique.
Thanks for letting me introduce myself. I hope everyone has a nice Easter. Luke Berkey
