Put away all the waterfowl gear to start a new hobby. I picked up a slightly used bow from a friend and bought a new bow for Kate. We're both having alot of fun with it so far.

Mike, way to go. My wife and I still take out the bows together. Wife loves shooting bow [says it's the mental thing she likes]. Won't hunt, but loves the food. Help's me smoke but doesn't eat much.
 
Mike that is wonderful. Thank you for posting the picture of you and your daughter. Makes me feel good seeing a father passing on something as meaningful as bowhunting (shooting) to there children.
 
Thanks guys. It's a brand new activity for us. I even joined a local club. They have indoor and outdoor archery. Feels great to have her excited to do things like this with me. I fear the inevitable day that dad loses his charm.
 
Mike no worries my 17 yo daughter would rather go shoot rifles with the old man over hanging out with her friends. Start them young and they are good to go. Avoid teaching them too well or they will out shoot you
