Michele and I am expecting our first child towards the end of May. I will be registering him/her shortly birth. With any look, said child will have Dad's good looks and Mom's smarts.

Name suggestions?

Pete, I gave my dad a mothers day card once..it said" Thanks Dad, without you, Mothers Day wouldn't happen". He looked at it and said "How do you know you're giving it to the right guy?"
Hahaha. Geeze Lee that was almost too easy.

You could name it after the father.........

There is a western with Arnold Shwartzenegger and Kirk Douglas in which Arnold's character is named after his father, Handsome Stranger. :-)

Congrats Paul and Michele.

Paul,

Regardless of all the banter, I am very happy for you and Michele. It will forever change your life in ways that you don't imagine right now - all good.

Best,

Pete

Hey Paul,

If you had stayed out in the shop and finshed more decoys, you wouldn't be in this mess...HA!

Really though, my best to you and Michelle,

Chuck

Congrats!!! My wife gave birth to my third....Landon Nicholas a few weeks ago. Born on my Dad's birthday. The kids can surely turn your worst day of the week into your best with one little giggle and hug.

Congrats again,
Mike

I became an uncle this summer and tried to get my brother to name the kid "Jimmy Robinson Ronning"

I thought it sounded great.

Jimmy Robinson Rutgers has a nice ring, too!

Paul,

Congrats to Michele and you for your first child. No doubt, it is a blessed event.

One of the plusses (hehe) are that children, especially when they are really young, are great conditioning for duck hunters... lot's of early morning rises!

As far as the name, if the child is a boy, a different twist to Harker's suggestion is that you could give him the masculine form of your wife's name Michele, naming him.... Michael.

Of course if you are a Johnny Cash fan, there is always the option of naming him....... Sue?

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. From the sounds of it, either boy or girl, they are gonna have the same stories my grampa did about growing up in the depression. Hopefully we have twin boys so we can name them Lem and Steve.

Congratulations Paul! Best wishes!

As far as names, I have a couple suggestions:

Duke
or
Zeke (I wanted to name our son that, but had to settle on the dog)
