Holy crap, when did this derail? As outlined in the commercial poster guidelines, Tony (and other manufacturers) can show off the processes involved in building their products, however when questions about how turn to questions about how much (does it cost) then both parties should agree take the conversation to a more private means of communication.
That said, I know Tony's posts are typically self serving, but at the same time I know that many enjoy seeing his processes. I personally find them tiring to read, hence I lost interest in keeping up with this and didn't see how far this had gone askew. He's in the business of selling boats, not giving away free trade secrets.
Tony does have a donor title, but that doesn't make him immune to the rules of the board or the ethics of gentlemanly conduct.

Guys This is crazy, This site is a duck boat site, Its quite interesting because this site lists commercial builders in a specific section of the site, Seems odd that you wouldn't want to see the works of those commercial builders listed on this site which is basically free advertising directly linked from this website. We have several links on that page. TDB, MLB, Arthur Armstrong, Waterfowl Works. over a dozen boats directly linked and listed on this website. And we are as far as I am aware the only commercial boat builder that is willing to share Build processes on a public forum full of boat builders. I guess thats for a reason. I try to share for those who like to see the processes, Not to be ridiculed by a competitors friend or anyone just looking for a way to derail a thread. We have bought and own all these companies for a reason, And we are still building boats while as is apparent these companies have sold out to us for one reason or another. But in the end, were still in the business and now have a 26 thousand square ft facility to allow us to produce even more boats. And we build them one way. Right and up to USCG standards. period. No cutting corners. No worries when this thread is over and the boat is complete and finished I will refrain from posting our new boats builds here. Believe me if I have to rely on the sales of this forum for my business to succeed I wouldn't last very long and that goes for other forums which we sponsor included. That was not my intention what so ever. It was merely to show how we are fixing and bringing life back to a very popular model boat that had lots of issues in the past and I want those issues shown and addressed directly to those who may own a old style boat from mainly the safety stand point. Not to directly sell them via this posting. We own several websites, sponsorships of other forums, facebook, and magazine advertisements to take care of the sales end of things for us.
With that said, I hope to wrap this up soon, Waiting on the new canvas dodger and then we will do some test runs to show exactly what this boat is built to do and how well it does it. I plan to swamp it without the motor of course(unless I can find a junk one to hang on the back) and show you exactly why floatation and its placement is so valuable in boat building. And under a floor is not the proper place if it can be avoided and we will show you why.

I'm really excited to run this boat later in May. I already have 7-8 guys already lined up ready to make the purchase from ya. Better get a bigger spot for Tuckerton!

When is this boat going to be in NJ, I would like to see one as well. Will wait to order new Duckboss until after seeing this boat in person, it may fit my hunting style a little better.

Just go on SJ craigslist and you will see a million higbees, which are pretty much the same thing..

I look on there everyday, there is only one higbee on there from LBI, been on there for a while because he wants too much. And the others that have been posted as higbees are maylanding boat works boat which are not higbees. I had a chuckhuff in the past, better handling of big water than a higbee just poorly built. But if you find some on there let me know, i already have one but looking for another one for my youngest boy my oldest is already running one.
The Predator is much more than a Higbee. I have yet to see a higbee that meets uscg standards, they all have little or no floatation foam. The Higbee is 12ft the Predator is 13ft 6in. We also have a set of 12ft Higbee molds.

Tony, keep me posted on your poss trip to NJ with the predator, Do you have any info on the higbee boat, I am looking for one of those if they will be resonably priced, I won't ask pricing here but send me a PM on pricing. Thanks
Will do. I will be glad to post the build of the Higbee style if that's what you guys want to see. These molds were also made by MLB But are in much better shape. It has the big cockpit opening deck but that will be changed to the smaller opening with more back deck area.
