New rig - Estuary

Nice rig. I gave it a good inspection when I purchased the motor off it and it is ready to go. You got a square deal.

Yeah thanks Dan. Bill is a great guy. I feel pretty lucky to have come into this deal...the boat is a beauty, can't wait to gun it next year!

What size water are you guys hunting with them? And how many decoys are you using?

Like the boat builder just said, you can move the boat in 3" of water and it will push easily with a soft bottom. If its hard bottom and you got less than 10" of water, better hope the tide comes in.

As far as decoys, I only hunt with two. One is a loaf of bread decoy that don mintz made and the other is a flocked mallard with bread crumbs on his face....lol

If you hunt big water and want a traditional style sneakbox, this is the boat for you. Simple as that. Most sneakboxes out there just aren't designed to be run in big water, the estuary is.

I had a morning this past season on the raritan bay where two guys in a 16ft tin boat took one look at it and said no way, too rough, and left. Myself and another DHBP member didn't think twice and did our run in our 12-13ft sneakboxes. Myself in my Fricke, his in his estuary, no worries, no issue. It'll get you out and more importantly, it'll get you home.
