I use about 3 bottles of dark brown dye and 1 bottle black. Depth of color obtained by amount of time left in hot mixture. At a minimun 15 minutes. Also you can get different colors from J Stern Comp.in bulk but I find it better to dye my own. I cut my raffia sections Tie in middle w/bailing twine and fill up pot . After dyeing lay out to dry and attach w/zip[ ties.
