NJ,PA,DE get together 7/21 *BACK ON NEW SPOT* what ya bringing

Sweet!, I'll have the sail rig done for sure and look forward to sailing it in the salt! I am finish sanding everything this week for painting. Then just need to make some rivets to attach the bronze pintles to the rudder, and create the leathers for the boom and sprit.

Im not a fan of greenheads...lol. Didnt think of that since ive only been there in the winter... Either way im good for the 21st. Is it a go for tuckahoe?

Yeah tuckahoe it is. I wasn't sure if we could bbq there but a few others said its ok to as long as we bring our own grill. It should be a lot of fun

I hope I can make it. I should be able to but will not be a definite until that week. I'll have to decide what boat to bring the duck boat or my skiff. I have a small gas grill that fits on a tail gait and uses the small 1# fuel bottles. I'll bring that if I'm coming. Luke

Yeah sounds good

Sounds like a great time and I would love to make it, but the Mrs. informed me that we have a wedding to attend that day. I'll have to wait and see everyone at Tuckerton.

Jode,
That's sweet that you did that the sandy spot to the left of the ramp is where I think we can BBQ.

Any guys with a NJ hunting license make sure you bring it. That will be your boat ramp pass. For the others it will be a few bucks to put your boat in.

The folloing was taken directly from the Fish and Game site. My interpretation of it is you can't BBQ or drink alcohol on the WMA.

NJ is one way over regulated state. I just called about Kennedy Park in Somers Point. The ramps are right on the bay. There is a daily $10.00 ramp fee. You can BBQ but no alcohol or dogs allowed. If you have over 20 people you need to get a permit that is $100.00 and it has to be approved by the Committee that meets once per month and the next meeting is July 5. This state is such a friggin hassle. You're better of just going to the WMA and hoping no Fish and Game Officers show up. Dave

Well that sucks gimmie some ideas I will go to the meeting and do all that crap if enough people are gonna go kennedy park is nice and if we chip in $100 isn't bad. I got $20 on it who is with me.

OK, I think I got us going here. I called a very nice lady at the Atlantic County Rec Dept. We can go to the Atlantic County Park in Estell Manor. It's pretty much Mays Landing. It is right by Lake Lenape. I was able to get us a camp site with a pavilion right by the boat ramp on the south river. There are no HP restrictions on the river just the lake so were good. We can park the trucks and boats in the parking lot that is walking distance from our site and ramp. I think we are good. Also if anyone wants to bring a tent and stay the night we are able to do that. If you bring your kids there is swimming and stuff to do on the lake. I am gonna go down there and pay for the site and go walk through the site and ramp area and check it all out one day next week. The parking pass for the day is $5 and I think the ramp is free because we have a camp site.

Anyone who knows more about this park/lake/river area please feel free to add some info. Thanks to everyone for your help with this. Any with ideas of other things we can do or thoughts to make this a great time for everyone please jump in.

Nice...........We are right by some good area's there and still not far from the salt etc. Lenape has some great bass fishing too. Nice going Chris.

Yes good job Chris. My uncle fishes Lenape a lot and he routinely catches lots of bass and has caught a few up to six pounds.
