I am bringing down most of my carving stuff and some in-progress birds. I think I am doing a demo one day too.

I will be there both days and looking forward to talking and meeting all the guys from duckboats. I hope someone will be taking pictures and posting them for us. It looks like we are going to have good weather for the weekend. Things are coming together and it looks like it will be a great event. Jim I will talk to you about the mallard on the weekend. If anyone is having a problem with getting down for the show to enter birds give me a call and hopefully we can work something out. See you at the festival. Pete
 
Mike, I would get there about 8:00 or 8:30, so you have time to set up plus get your decoys entered. You can print out the entry forms on the website. See you on Sat. Pete
 
Hey Pete,

My car is getting fixed this morning, so I should be able to make it down today. Rear seal on my brakes went and they were smoking like a _____! Should be OK now.

Pete, You guys put on a great show. Due to sponsor commitments and seminars, I didn't get nearly enough time in the decoy tent. Here are a few pics I snapped at the event. Please feel free to add comentary as I am not sure whose deeks I photographed. I am sure that the Judges had a hard time because they all looked fantastic. Just took pics of some that caught my eye. Mike F. it was also nice chatting with you on Sunday as well. Thanks for the ideas for a new keel design.

Hi, Let me try and put some names and what the pictures show. The 1st 2 pictures are of the CWA gunners group and the 3rd is the contemporary decoy division. I think the next decoy is little Hanks decoy,with Mike Frechette white-wing scoter. There are two pictures of my mallard ( the one that is offered for the traveling decoy) and a picture of Clint Chase decoys and one of Mike's decoys. There are also pictures of the black, and bluebill I had in the show.
Ray , Thanks for taking the pictures and posting them. Also I wish I had more time to talk with you , but I was running all over the place. I think we will have to get together for a beer and talk. The show all in all was a great one and I thank all the sponsors, venders, volunteers, and carvers that gave up a weekend to make the show a success. I wish I could have spent more time talking and getting to know everybody that came to show. Thanks everybody, Pete R.
