Just wanted to let everybody in the northeast know about this, it looks like it will be a good time.
You are cordially invited to the Northeast Waterfowl Festival this coming weekend September 26 & 27 at Cabela’s in East Hartford, CT. This event is being co-sponsored by Ducks Unlimited and Cabelas to promote waterfowling interests in the Northeast. Come out and see clinics and seminars at all levels of retriever work put on by a cast of professional dog folks. View and speak to some of the best decoy carvers in the area who will be displaying there wares and their talents. Hear and try out duck and goose calls from the likes Sean Mann, Rich Foiles, Buck Gardner, and others. Equipment from Avery, Cabelas and more will be on display as well. Discuss conservation and wetland projects with folks from Ducks Unlimited, Connecticut Waterfowlers Association and Livingston Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy. Hands-on projects and hand outs for kids,-----our next generation of waterfowlers.
Speak to reps from Ducks Unlimited about getting involved in helping our waterfowl resources.
Admission is free. Hourly sweepstakes drawing for prizes. Something for the entire family to enjoy. 10 AM to 4 PM both Saturday and Sunday.
