Not a ducky day, just another beautiful day; sunny, warm and clear skies

sad over here in ohio too. we are getting tons of rain, and 50ish weather. went out the other day and it was 61. no new birds and everything sets down well outside of the decoys. one week left to see what happens. hope you guys have a wonderful christmas.

My first day out was good, but since then we scratch hard just so we don't have another skunked day.
by the way I didn't hunt until Nov 26. Last week we tried where we saw you last year and managed to get
2 mergansers and a hen buffie.
Seems to be a lot of big flocks of Mergansers around here this year.

We were out again today. Much better with a little wind out of the NNW.

George, I set up just a little to the west of where we met the last time. Did ok, couple of blacks and some Brant then moved on to scratch out a few more. Lots of Buffies around. The guys I had with me today never gunned the salt marsh. The had a great time in the boats.

I'm taking the next two days off then we will be heading out again on Monday.
