My local rivers have been up and down all around their flood stage level, for a couple weeks now. So I did the next best thing and fished a small local public pond. This little pond is a borrow pit for when the DOT came thru and rebuilt the old two lane road to a four lane divided highway.
Trolled a big fat leech when, this girl decided she just could not let it pass by. At 17.5 inches and 3lbs 5 ounces, it is a quite decent fish for my area. She is still swimming.
