Nova Scotia sink box hunt - appetite wetter

guys, i have about 300 photos to go through in order to make a complete posts, so I'm facing quite the information overload. I thought I'd post a simple photo of our last hunt to get started:

in my hands, i'm holding my eider decoy i carved for the trip and 2 drake eiders. one killed by kris schaumburg, one by myself. if you look close in the photo, you'll see snow falling. weather hit a bit before we thought it would and had to call the last hunt quick. but, we got our birds - most important part.

directly behind me, you see the "fish house" and an old barn. below, on the roof of our boat, you see the "wings" of the sink box, equipped with the decoys - my understanding is they were originally carved and painted anywhere from the 1890's to the mid 1900's but have been repainted many times over since, the last time by our host Philip Finck, which i believe a few on here know. i'll explain in the complete post, which looking at the amount of photos i have to process, may be a while in the making....

hope you enjoy, justin

I think I speak for everyone when I say "Get your rear in gear!!!"

Really though, I patiently await your complete report.

Best
Chuck
