Ah, it's that time of year I mention "Tim" and "pansy" in the same sentence....
Between garlic growing and overwintering spinach there is always something growing in the garden. I made my last broccoli and spinach harvest in early January and began picking some spinach last month. The only thing I used for season extension was floating row cover for the broccoli. Ten month harvest window for central Ohio not too bad.

It's funny our garlic/mustard weed has taken over the floor of my woods and killed all our spring flowers. I've tried burning, weed whipping, chemicals and pulling is the only answer to date which isn't practical. I realize we aren't talking the same garlic but I just had to inject that in the conversation
