NYS DEC license

Looks like Emperor Cuomo is looking to get some backing from the hunting community. I think he has already burned that bridge.
 
Looks like it gets more expensive for the non-resident. I get just the small game. Looks like obamacare. Now i get more that i won't use, and pay more too!
 
Well i'm glad I bought my sportsman life time when I did. If I read that correctly sportsman's will no longer be available.
 
Looking to weasel back into the picture by dropping fees. Notice that the lifetime license fee did not change. Democrats are BAD for hunting and gun ownership. Just look around at how screwed up everything is now. I moved from Bedford, NY to the city 2 years ago. I couldn't even legally possess my firearms without applying for a special card that took me 11 months to get. That is a joke. They took the money right away so basically I had no use of it for nearly a year. It should have been prorated. In addition, they had no problem taking my $1000.00 for a lifetime license a few years back. Did they think I was going to be hunting with a slingshot ? Cuomo can go to hell. So can every other Democrat that has jumped on the anti-gun bandwagon.
 
The Sportsman's are available. Read the very bottom of the page. Every other fee has declined. The price of the Sportsman has remained unchanged.

Dave I think non resident fee is going from 275.00 down to 100.00 for small/big game combined. That will be great for the guide's
 
I see that, but i get the small game for$85, now looks like I will pay $100 and get big game, but don't use it? Be nice if small game was still an option. I pay just $55 for small game in VT.
 
I agree Vt is a deal,I think Mass is 85.00, NJ is 45.00 for a couple of days or 145.00 for the season for the combo. WA is 200.00 for small game.
 
He can give licenses away for free, it will not help, and NY is NOT open for business, especially for hunters. I liked the old system, that was not broken but got fixed anyway. One stop shoppin' and I got everything for a very fair price. Conservation needs more $$$$$$$$$$$, not less. This is the guy that would not send DEC from NY, to the Fed Flyway Council Meeting in 2012, (the birth place of DU), the only state not represented. So he could save money.........
 
Why not a reciprocal agreement with other states for out of state licenses? Dollar for dollar. NY is about the only state that doesn't partner with other states.
Some one new at DEC trying to make a name???
 
I'm a commercial fisherman. lots of experience with the DEC.
Trust me, the DEC can screw up a wet dream...
 
we grabbed lifetime licenses several years ago when they started jacking the prices under Patterson

I keep waiting for them to find a way to renig on that deal to either make money or shut down hunters
 
Cost was the main reason for me to get a life time sportsman license . Second was the hunting rights for a life time, Mine .
