Off to Duck Camp!

Went down last night to watch 2000 Geese return to the roost and it get right . Car is loaded ,off to camp & Red water brook to blast wood ducks. I hope you all have a safe an enjoyable opener.

so how did you make out?

It went well, the wood ducks came screaming in and after just watching the first two groups fly through the spread we shot a few. The first volley put the resting hoard of Geese in the air circling the pond for half an hour. One guest had never been to the swamp when the for the opener,seeing that many birds lift is always a treat.
The dogs Finn & Reily worked well together ,honoring and working together on multiple bird retrieves. This is their third season together, blind buds.
