Opening Weekend LI, NY Action Photos..

Another busy opening weekend here on Long Island. Kicked off the Thanksgiving Opener with my Father in the 14' TDB out on The GSB. Taking an impressive shot on the season's first Blackduck and I followed up shortly after with my own and a single brant to end the morning.

Friday / Sat I enjoyed another few days behind the lens on a Seaduck & Field Goose hunt on LI's east end. Excited to start yet another new season. Best of luck to all out there & stay safe throughout our second split starting Dec 5th.

Carl- The Limit This Year on Brant Is (2) Per Hunter an increase from last years limit of (1)

Thanks, Our Brant season starts up November 24th-27. Starting up again December 5-Janurary 29th. For a 60 day season. Based on the migratory study last year they allow us an additional bird + extended days. I have not seen any increase or difference in amount of birds from last year / year before last up untill this year so not sure where they went to do the study.
