can anyone tell me about otter foam bluebill decoys. Interested in particular whether they,re self righting , quality of decoy, whether heads snap off easily and how well they ride. Might be swapping some #72 herters mallards for some. I would be restle coating and repainting them so thats not really an issue but I have never seen any otters before. These decoys are recent manufacture according to other party, about 2 years old.

Well, I've never heard of them but that doesn't mean much. I did a search and found another site bad mouthing them but that doesn't always mean anything either. They have a Facebook page and I guess I would suggest you go directly to them with your questions/concerns and see what they say. The Herters are probably a better quality decoy so I wouldn't get rid of them in a trade. Let us all know what you find out.

Yea, not much info about them that I can find. Seen facebook page but was hopeing to find some info from someone who actually hunts them.Got some more feelers out, see what happens. Might just post those 72,s on here or craigs list for sale instead of swapping.
