Check out our youth shooting team at the MA Trap Shoot. THis is the team that Mary, John Rabias and I coach. They placed 2nd for team, Little Hank shot a 145 out of 200 on trap at 10 years old to take the gold and our top gun shot 190/200 to take HOA. What a great weekend. To top it off we had Channel 7 News come and film us for the 6pm news on Sat. I know there are some houses in Boston that did not like this but I thought it was great. :) Listen to the end of the piece when the reporter talks about how great it is to have kids and guns together. Way to go Hank! That story needs to be aired on NBC Nightly News so the entire nation can learn about our great sport. Keep up the good work!
 
Oh my god Hank,
you found the one conservative tv reporter in new england.

Way to go getting that little bit of tape on the evening news.
He may be looking for some pointers on a new job as a coach when the station big wigs find out he ran that story.


I will write a letter for their collection at the station.

We are trying to get him signed up out at our conservation club right now, at 10 he is a little young for alot of the the things they actually offer here but he cant wait to get his foot in the door!

Great job with the kids. One of the local high schools in my area used to have a riffle team. The range was in the basement of the school.
 
Never mind that "Great job with the Kids Hank" stuff. Anybody in the knows understands it's Mary's
coaching making the difference..:)

Now that I got that out of the way, congrats to all involved, and its great to see the involvement.
 
This is great stuff. The kids really like shooting trap. I used to assist in coaching a high school trap team. The kids usually picked things up quicker than adults and weren't so up tight about missing. Too bad there are not more clubs and teams for kids out there like yours. Sooner or later all of them vote. I salute your efforts.
