Outboard gas tank in bow... long gas hose?

Remember guys you can't suck the fuel through the line. It is pushed through by atmospheric pressure. Keep that in mind and you will avoid most problems with outboard fuel systems.

I like Eric P. set-up. 1 primer bulb located close to the tank, with a 1piece hose from the bulb to the motor fitting. The primer bulb has a check valve built in that restricts & disrupts flow. The hose barbs on each end of the bulb also restricts flow. Hose barbs on a splice & moisture seperators are also a restriction. 90 degree fittings are very restrictive to flow. I'm probably over thinking this, but the fewer restrictions the better IMHO.

Just upsize the hose and fitting size to counter.

Tod, that works too. Just trying to help with my .02 worth, too many restrictions can kill good good flow either fluids or air, something to watch out for.

Go to your local marine dealer, buy bulk 5/16" fuel line and a ball and fittings and make your own. Cheap for a johnson. Did the same for my bbsb and it costs about $2.00 a foot.
