So what do you recommend to paint the chromed spokes on the wheels of my game cart. I'm thinking rub them with a scotchbrite pad, wash with thinner, rattle can primer, topped with rattle can camo. Is that gonna stay on?
Matt,I would use a good epoxy primer than the ratlle can paint, just make sure they are scuffed good with the scotch-brite. Hope this helps Brian Rippelmeyer
Chrome is some hard tough $h#t!! I doubt a scots type of pad will make enough "tooth" on chrome to let the paint stick to. I'd think a good sand blasting would be a better way to go. That said try the rattle cans, but keep a can handy for a daily touch-up. If the spokes are a flat type maby a camo tape would work better. JMHO

3M Rocker Panel Spray or a rubberized underbody paint. Both stick sell to metal. The Rocker Panel spray is flat black if that works for you. Also, should you go this route, be sue to get the rocker panel sparay that is solvent based, not environmentally friendly.
You can pick this stuff up at most autobody supply houses.
Thanks for your replies. I'll probably go with the bed liner spray. I used a brand that I've had good luck with on my tail gate. I'm looking for a quick and dirty solution, not a quality job in this case, so I could just touch it up as needed.
