our first day of hanging out in the olympic peninsula, we decided to hike cape flattery (pretty easy: shi shi beach not so much) it was one of the coolest hikes i have been on and highly recommend checking it out.

tatoosh islands

SHI SHI beach

A black rock bass stuck in a tide pool

a cool bridge on the hike

Nanner' slug

the ride back to Chito Beach

it was awesome there, so beautiful and hardly any people. i guess tourists don't like hiking in the rain.

black fish samiches for dinner tonight so the chronicles will continue tomorrow.

Nikki wants to finish a year at her new job which is November. We don't want to move cross country in the winter. So we are looking at early spring.

She is going to look at travel nursing which will pay some of the moving costs and it gives you a housing stipend. We're going to bounce around a bit to pinpoint where we will buy a house. We can't wait to get back out there.

Great trip! Thanks for putting that up! Hopefully you are as lucky as I have been and every trip (and every year) after gets better and better.
