The decoys are all very nice those box calls Jode are pretty! If I didnt have a turkey call collection problem I'd grab one of those Maple ones!

Jode - With all the gunning turkey decoys you have made and hunted over. Have you ever shot a gobbler so close to the decoy that it caught a "flyer of shot" or more? That would be a Decoy I could never part with, no matter how bad the collateral damage...

Yes, Vince actually I have. That Big decoy shown in the picture with Bob White took some shot. One of the first double beards I ever killed came in and pecked at, then started to mount the decoy! Lol.....he wasn't quite finished when the lead sixes knocked him flat! Unfortunately the last I saw of big Bertha, a fireman was throwing her smoldering body out the barn loft door.......sad ending but the memory is still great!

Jode - Sorry to hear that about "Big Bertha", hope you got to save something of her history. The way that you hunt, I would say there is a pretty good chance one of your other decoys will catch a few pellets, sooner or later...
